  • Yvette Casal

Yvette Casal is thrilled to be able work in a small boutique studio for the exploration of human movement and learning.

Yvette began teaching Pilates in 2001. After receiving a BA in Dance from Loyola Marymount University she found Pilates as a great compliment to all the movement education she had already studied. Her Pilates certification comes from Marie Jose Blom and the Long Beach Dance Conditioning Center. She has taught throughout LA and Orange County, most notably for Prana Pilates, Sony Picture Studios, Brighton Institute of Physiotherapy, Los Angeles Body Kinetics, and as part time dance faculty for LMU.

Since permanently relocating to Orange County in 2005 she has found herself with a wide range of clientele and has learned so much from the clients themselves.

In 2010, she was introduced to the MELT Method by its creator Sue Hitzmann.

Yvette has been amazed at the effects the MELT Method has had on her whole spectrum of clients. MELT helps make the Pilates system much more successful for the student. It is exciting to be part of this new paradigm of self care and Yvette continues to prove how her specialized sessions of Pilates and MELT can help men and women of all fitness backgrounds.

Most recently Yvette has been working with young dancers and can be found teaching Pilates and Flexibility Classes at Avanti Dance Company

Living with multiple sclerosis, himself, he has become a specialist in offering Pilates to persons with neurological disorders.
